Who's are you?

You were created for the Lord Jesus. We are going to look at some scripture! All week the Lord has been asking me some tough questions. I believe my mandate is to get each and every one of us to totally and completely examine our hearts daily. The bible says our hearts are deceitful and lie to us unless it is regenerated by the spirit of the Lord.

One of my challenges daily is just getting close enough to the Lord to open my heart and let him examine and change me from the inside out. Change and transformation come from the inside out and not the other way around. There is a conviction that comes from deep within.

There is a scripture out there that says, those that love him, it is all about Love. You are loved, totally, and completely accepted. Does that mean the Lord doesn’t want you to change? He wants you to change but he loves you totally and completely. So I have been asking myself some tough questions this week and I believe he is asking everyone these questions.

We are headed to a realm of glory that we haven’t attained yet. I have been ordained for what is in front of me. I have been ordained for life to be one in pursuit of the Kingdom of Heaven and to support those headed in this direction; to support those who desperately are after a relationship with our creator.

He does not want us to waste anything that happens in our lives but he wants it to draw us closer to him. If we don’t have the Lord we have absolutely nothing. I hunger and thirst daily for more of him. Not all the extraneous things, not all the things that go on or the garbage out there but more of him, plain and simple. And believe me, he uses everything. I am really needy. I am hungry and thirsty for more of him. Why? Every day desperate, I say that because I can’t do it, I can’t put two words together but by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Why is it that the apostles and many since that age have been able to walk in such a realm of authority unprecedented since the dawn of humanity? But yet most of the Christianity communities are wallowing at such a low level? Where they are just getting enough to survive when the Lord has made the breakthrough for us.

Why is it that so much goes on around us?

Why is it that you are being attacked constantly?

Why is it that things happen around you?

I believe much of it is positional. Where are you positioned spiritually? I am asking the tough questions, are you positioned in the heavenly realms far above principalities, far above rulers, far above dominions? Or are you under that weight of bondage in the world? Because there is a realm that the Lord has called us to and he has seated us.

How many believe scripture? I am not minimizing what people go through but we are seated in the heavenly realm that’s the reality of the gospel. We are seated in heavenly places. That is our position far above principalities we are seated with the Lord Jesus Christ. Most of Christianity thinks we are seated under this oppressive element but the Lord has seated us far above.

The challenge is not to allow those weights to put you under but allow the Holy Spirit to put you over. I don’t have a bad hair day and am not planning to have a bad hair day. Why is it that most of Christianity are under this burden or weight? I know we are aliens in this world (in a God sense) and there is a suffering that takes place but the Lord has called us to a higher realm. It is not for the sweet by and by it is for the here and now. It is not what you’re walking under it is what you are walking over. You are more than a conqueror in Christ Jesus. So I have drawn some conclusions. I want to share. Can the Lord move today? Absolutely. How many need a miracle? Everybody. We don’t stand down or back up we believe in the miracles of God.

All of this year I have been in a season of preparation. Every day, for more of him. I am standing on the word that he has released. Has anyone had a word for their lives? I am preparing and fine-tuning. Like when you get a guitar and when the strings are out of tune you tune it up. That is what the Lord is doing. When you are chugging along in a vehicle you are driving you go and get a tune up. So today is a day of breakthrough (and a spiritual tune up), of a new release of supernatural power and it is about the Kingdom of God. It is not about your life, it is about his life in you. Do you have his life in you? That is what it is about totally and completely. Friday morning in prayer I just saw Lord opening up a new banqueting table. I don’t know if it is about today or for days yet to come. So there is a new banqueting table and it will be available.

Now we are also entering a season of unprecedented answers to prayer. Some of you have put some of your prayers in dormancy. Meaning not into action. Unanswered prayer, I want you to restore those un-answers to prayer in your life. If you have dropped answers to prayer, put it back on the front burner. Prophecies of old are going to come about don’t lay them down. The vision of the Lord, if you will thirst and hunger for him will become very clear in your life.

Where you have had a wandering in the wilderness mentality, the Lord wants you to walk a purposeful life. Full of Purpose! Veils are being removed. It is time for the enemy to be intimidated not you. You may be under attack because you are a threat; it is time for him to be intimidated.

We are not wimpy Christians. You are not a wimp. Jesus wasn’t. Every place the Lord Jesus went he would stir up principalities, demons just manifesting all around him, but the protection of the Lord was upon him until the day he fulfilled the destiny on his life. You are called to stir up, wherever you go stir up something by the spirit of the Lord. Don’t be afraid of the devil, intimidate him. I walk into a restaurant and hear people swearing; I just smile and start yelling ‘praise the Lord’ hallelujah! They shut up pretty quick.

Years ago about eight of us men decided to attend a junior hockey game in Red Deer and it was a closely contested battle between two very good teams. About halfway through the game a fan directly behind us started to yell at the referee "kill the ref, kill the ref." How crazy was that at a game simply being played!!! Finally, after several minutes of this my oldest son Tim turned around and confronted this man and said words to this effect: seriously man kill someone over a game please stop." And it stopped. You see crazy things will happen on the earth and we must be ready to confront evil.

Don’t let this opportunity pass you by it is an opportunity. Don’t be intimidated by the devil, intimidate him, get him on the run. You are positioned way up here, far above! The strategy of heaven is being released right now. The strategy of Heaven is being released right now!

One Friday in morning prayer I was having communion and all of a sudden I heard a wind. I am declaring over you that there is a new wind of the spirit. Get ready for the wind of the spirit to blow over your life. A fresh new wind of God, I am not holding back I want it right now. You need to start intimidating the devil. Don’t’ be taken by surprise when the enemy starts a counterattack.

Several years ago in morning prayer, the Lord showed me that the enemy was embarking on a counterattack. All of a sudden there came up a story on Facebook, about Frontline Worship centre (the church I pastored). Someone put on a facebook page, Frontline Worship centre is the evilest and most vile church that is out there. Not only was it a confirmation of my word but it told me that we are headed in the right direction. Don’t be afraid of persecution.

The enemy will attack anything that moves forward on kingdom business. Do you know anyone who was persecuted? Jesus was, most of the apostles were murdered. Don’t be afraid of persecution just know you are doing something right, keep going don’t back up keep going in. We are seated far above principalities, powers, and rulers of darkness in high places. Don’t be afraid of fire, what does fire do? Fire refines! If I am not on my face, I need to be on my face, surrendering today. Don’t let fear present you the next step is right there, pick up the mysteries and secrets.

I have been a believer for decades now, and I am looking at scripture in a fresh new way. I know so little, little, little tiny, tiny amounts about my Lord. I suggest you are like that also. There are still realms on mysteries and secrets in scripture that the significance of which have yet to be revealed. Revelation will come but in the Lord's timing, not our timing.

Do not let fear prevent you from entering there is new mysteries and secrets of the Kingdom of God being released. Get out of the emotional realm, there were two trees in the garden, the tree of life and the tree of knowledge of good and evil. You don’t want the evil one get out of your emotions that is your soulish man, your spirit man needs to be in control.

Someone said to me the Lord gave us emotions and a mind, but I don’t believe that in the garden our emotions and mind were the same as what we have today. In the garden, we were totally and only influenced by God. At that time he was the only influencer and truth. Then the fall of man took place, it was desirable to have that apple (their own emotions). It wasn’t God’s word anymore it was… ‘mmm that looks good. There are Godly emotions, by the way, understand that. What I am saying is in the Garden it was different before the fall than it is today.

1 Corinthians 3: 10-17: This is about the Church but I am applying it to your heart and my heart. This is about the Church but it has an individual application.

"10According to the grace (the special endowment for my task) of God bestowed on me,"

Do you believe the grace of God is available to you, number one do you believe that is it planted in your heart? This is Paul speaking by the way. There is a grace available to fulfill the destiny the Lord has for our lives. Do you believe you have grace? I believe I need his grace and mercy every day and it is available for me and you, I can’t do it but he can.

"10According to the grace (the special endowment for my task) of God bestowed on me, like a skillful architect and master builder"

Are you building yourself with the help of the grace of God? Positioning yourself, changing your mindsets. We do have ungodly mindsets that try and attach themselves to our lives. Like the poverty mindset, you can be rich and still have that mindset. So Paul is saying he is like a skillful architect a master builder "I laid [the] foundation, and now another [man] is building upon it. "

What mindsets do you believe are a part of your foundation that affect the total structure of the building. For example, fear: do you walk in a realm of fear. No one is exempt from that. But do you do things from a realm of fear and claim that it is faith. Fear is a big one, fear of death, fear of the future, or the walk of faith, you choose. What does the Lord move to… Faith. Everything you get from the Lord will be tested, whether you are a pastor or whatever you do for a living. Everything you get from the Lord will be tested, and you know what? Many times it is God doing the testing. How many understand what I am talking about? It is him many times doing the testing.

"But let each [man] be careful how he builds upon it," Be careful what you are building upon! Is it fear or faith? This does not only go for individuals it is a word for the Church. Be careful what the Church is built upon. Is it being built on, sand? Or is it built on the rock? What is it built upon, what is your life built upon? Are you waking around in fear or torment? What is your life being built upon? What foundation is it built? Is it a foundation of critiquing everything, or being critical of everything, or is it built on Love and acceptance?

"11For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is [already] laid, which is Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One)." That is what the Church is built upon, that is the only thing I am looking for. All the other stuff is garbage to get you off track. That’s what I am after. I am after the Lord Jesus Christ. That is what the Church is built on, the Lord Jesus Christ.

"12But if anyone builds upon the Foundation, whether it be with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, 13The work of each [one] will become [plainly, openly] known

It will become plainly, openly known." Do you know what the test is? Time! Time is a good test! Where will you be in 5 years with your relationship with the Lord. Where will you be in 10 years, or 20 years? Will you build on the rock or on that shifting sand? We can purpose right now to be built on the rock.

It doesn’t matter what wave comes your way or what storm comes your way. No, I am built on the rock of Jesus Christ. If you don’t believe it start declaring it in your life every day. He is my foundation, high tower, refuge, and peace. I am built on the rock of the Lord Jesus Christ. What you declare in the spiritual realm, they achieve spiritual results. What are you declaring over yourselve and those around you? You need to declare you are built on the rock, your circumstances will always lie to you. If you have your life built on circumstances you will be tossed to a fro. The Word of God says this about me, my health, and my relationships. He has said it and I believe it! Declare it in the spiritual atmosphere. The mandate of heaven is on you. The mandate of heaven is here, and I am not backing down from that! I am looking up, nowhere else.

(shown for what it is); "for the day [of Christ] will disclose and declare it,"

What the day of Christ will disclose and declare it. The foundation is the most important thing. You can shift the foundation, by making small adjustments in what you believe. All of sudden you are way over here, why do you think there are dead churches out there. It is because they shifted their foundation. I am not opposed to churches but they shifted their foundation and no longer believe in the supernatural restorative power of heaven. They started saying things were ok! Maybe we will shift a little tiny bit so we can have more people. I love you and you are the greatest thing since sliced bread and I care about what is coming and to a certain extent is already here and yet it will always be revealed by testing and fire.

What is your foundation built upon? If it is the rock the fire will not burn you and the fire will test and critically appraise the character and worth of the work each person has done.

Each person. It is going to be tested and tried, what are you built upon? When the sand and winds come, don’t shift. We love everybody but we do not condone sin.

"14If the work which any person has built on this Foundation [any product of his efforts whatever] survives [this test], he will get his reward." Do you know there is a reward? You are going to be rewarded for building on the right foundation. It is a by-product of going after him. "15But if any person's work is burned up [under the test], he will suffer the loss [of it all, losing his reward], though he himself will be saved, but only as [one who has passed] through fire.(A) 16Do you not discern and understand that you [the whole church at Corinth] are God's temple (His sanctuary), and that God's Spirit has His permanent dwelling in you [to be at home in you, [a]collectively as a church and also individually]? 17If anyone [b]does hurt to God's temple or corrupts it [[c]with false doctrines] or destroys it, God will [d]do hurt to him..."

If what you are proposing to do does not line up with the word of God it is wrong. You can justify it anyway, but if it doesn’t line up with God’s word, it doesn’t matter what your emotions feel. It doesn’t matter about anything. The test is … does it line up to the word of God. If it doesn’t it is built upon shifting sand. We cannot allow our emotions to dictate an ungodly response to anything.

"17If anyone [b]does hurt to God's temple or corrupts it [[c]with false doctrines] or destroys it, God will [d]do hurt to him and bring him to the corruption of death and destroy him. For the temple of God is holy (sacred to Him) and that [temple] you [[e]the believing church and its individual believers] are."

I want to end this blog with one last scripture out of Psalms 105:19:" 19Until his word [to his cruel brothers] came true, until the word of the Lord tried and tested him."

This is Joseph. He was in the pit out of the pit, going to be killed not going to be killed, sold to slavery, went to jail, falsely accused. Has anyone been falsely accused? Satan is the accuser of the brethren. So Joseph was up and down the second he got the dream. Immediately. What was testing him? The word of the Lord. The word of the Lord tested Joseph. Do you think that the word of the Lord may test you? I would say YES! Don’t be afraid; be careful what you build on! Does it line up with scripture? What is your life being built on. DO not be afraid of the testing of the Lord don’t call it the devil let the Lord test because there is something good coming out of it. HE has and will equip you. Much Love!
