I have a message, and it's really about knowing the will of the Father, so if I were to title this it's knowing the Father's will/heart. When Christ was on the cross, He said these words, and it impacted me in my life. He said, "It is finished." The part that He plays in the Redemptive work of the cross is finished. Everything that He needed to do, he did, and it's been done. Isn't that a thought worth thinking knowing that He loves us that much that He will release the will of the Father to us? I looked back this week over the many years of my life and how, when you look back, it is so easy to see the hand of the Lord on things that happened years and years ago, but when you look ahead, you don't see the hand of the Lord. Accepted by the spirit of God, knowing the Father's heart, we can move from being a church that finds itself in the outer court exactly right into the holy of holies. Where we can move from being a church that finds itself in the outer court exactly right into the holy of holies where His presence is where His glory is where his anointing is. God is building something. He's not tearing down. He's not ripping out. He's a builder. The only time He tears down is to build again. So for years, standing in faith with all the naysayers the enemy whisperers God didn't tell you; nothing called you. You can't pastor; you can't even put two words together. Claudio Freidzon for years and years and years and years had eight people in the church but for 8 years he never gave up and all of a sudden the Holy Spirit says "now is the time" first week after the Holy Spirit hits a thousand people the first week came into the church. After a month 5,000 people and today If they want to meet together all at once they have to meet in the soccer stadium and they do it on Christmas and there's 45,000 believers singing praise to God storming the altar when worship starts and lives are being transformed through that ministry. Please never give up on the kingdom and the Lord’s plans and purposes. The devil will want you to give up; you don't have to be a rocket scientist to figure that puppy out. The devil doesn't want the church to succeed and I believe that church is all over the world that the Lord is now converting Christians to what are becoming Disciples of the Lord. No longer just playing Christian looking for all the blessings but disciples they carry a different attitude and a different spirit. By the way it can only be done by the spirit of the Lord and He's releasing Christians into the realm of being a disciple where they have always belonged disciples of Christ. It's like going from the back row in the airplane and then moving into first class. I've been there the first class moving in to where God wants you to be. When you know the will of the Father your whole life revolves around the kingdom of God. You'll know it and others will know it. In relation to finances, the Lord owns it all not just the ten percent. He owns it all and when you get that Revelation your one step closer to being a disciple of the Lord. I've had people and heard people argue for hours and hours about the tithe, and I laugh. What about being in heaven for eternity? Are you concerned about money when your real life is in heaven with the Lord? I've got nothing, and I'm not afraid to say that I'm not trying to store up on this Earth, but you know, somehow God makes a way where no way is possible. We can be so religious at times, and He loves you in spite of yourself. He loves me in spite of me. When you understand the love of the Lord, you understand so much more.
I'm not saying that I’ve arrived at that understanding please hear my heart, but when you do and you see that the God of the universe would sacrifice His son for your sin, and his son went willingly to the cross for you, John 15:13 "No one has greater love; no one has shown stronger affection than to lay down His own life for His friends". I was in the RCMP doing intelligence work and I have guarded the president, pope and the prime minister of Canada and all these statesmen. The Secret Service in the US has a model that they would take a bullet for their president I'm not so sure that that model applies to me and I don't know if I'm going to take a bullet for the president of the United States. I'm just saying just being transparent but I know one who was crucified for me and died for me and everyone and sometimes it's easy to just gloss over or not even think about. But really the kingdom of God is about is it’s about dying its about surrounder laying down and I'll use some examples from my own life like laying down your life it's not easy to do. Years and years and years ago when I was in the RCMP and one of three people that was being considered for a very special job with the an organization called MI5. MI5 is the intelligence service in Britain, so for two years I would be working with them or for them in Britain, and I would have diplomatic status like having the red passport (diplomatic) they gave me. Certain Liberties and freedoms and have a chauffeur and housekeeping with a beautiful home in London for two years. I indeed wanted this assignment so I prayed, "Lord, I want this. I didn't hear anything from God. The Lord gives you the desires of your heart, or at least He hears you I said "Lord I don't ask for much this is what I would like" I tried but I didn't get it, so I went to the Lord and I said, Lord, what is this all about?" Why did I not get this assignment? And this time He did talk to me and He said, Peter, if you hadn't gotten that position, you would have had to compromise your life and it would have affected your destiny forever." I said, "Okay, God, I Now understand that was Your favour, Your hand protecting me! I'm talking about my life I don't know about yours, but throughout my whole life, the Lord has protected me. He's preserved me for such a time as this. This is how I know the Father's hand. I know it's hard, and it involves one word: surrender. Everything revolves around surrendering your life. I've had things happen in my life I never expected or never thought would ever happen. People pulled guns on me, wanting to shoot me, wanting to beat me up, and that was before I came into ministry, so you can imagine what's happened since then with all the attacks in the fiery darts or the enemy trying to come in and bring destruction, but Christ says no. I fell off a pedal bike in Mexico. 11 fractured ribs, a collapsed lung , and a fractured vertebra, but God uses all of it to advance HIS kingdom out of that of it. I had the opportunity to witness to a lady on the plane coming home. God didn't damage me; it wasn't God that did it, but God sure knows how to use everything. But God, I trust You, I go where You want me to go, and Lord, I Thank you that there will be signs, wonders, and Miracles. I’m continually studying the character of Christ and everything He exuded or every place that He went. I'm after His character. What did He have? He had everything like joy, love, gentleness, kindness, patience, and a lot more. So when you look back, you can see that the hand of the Lord protected me here. The hand of the Lord protected me there. He's even sent angels to protect me, and I've seen them.
When Jesus was in The Garden of Gethsemane, every time I say this, it gets me emotional because Jesus being the Son of God, he was also the Son of Man, but that tells me that He experienced everything that we experience. Son of God being tempted, the Bible says in all things, just like you being tempted in all things, but the key was not sinning. How did he do that? Son of God, Son of Man, and He did it as a man. total 100% communion with the Father. What fraction of our time do we truly walk with the Lord? I am talking about myself: What fraction of my time am I truly serving the Lord? What fraction or what percentage of my life do I hear from the Father? What percentage of my life do I walk in fear rather than faith? What about your life? What percentage of our lives do we walk in fear? And sometimes, when you try to justify it as faith, I'm talking to me and for you. We need to ask the tough questions. When Jesus was in the garden, and I said this already, He said, Father, this cup can be taken from me." What was the cup? the cross. If this could be taken from me, nevertheless, not my will, not my will, Your will be done, Father. It wasn't like I'm going to suffer and go to church it was having a crown of thorns put on His head was about being whipped mercilessly while carrying a cross. Why would He die for me? Because He saw you and me as a reward for His sacrifice you His reward for the sacrifice of the cross. I never take that lightly, God. You did it for me and these precious ones. You did it for them. Lord, why is our heart not infused with more of You? He loves us that much. He loves you. He loves me totally. Jesus had a heart burning for the will of the Father. Lord, where is my heart in Your heart? Lord, I need you more today than ever before. I just stop trying to figure out the future because the future is a deliverance Lord and I pursue your kingdom. I pursue the cross. Jesus thought of others and where they would end up more than He thought of Himself. If you put others with the scripture says preferring others over ourselves when you try to walk that out you're going to have a position where everything you walk in will advance the kingdom of God. Understand this is great love and you're the reward just think about this you're the one that put Christ on the cross. That should cause you to walk soberly with the Lord. This love can never be measured by human love we can never understand the depth the width the magnitude the height of God's love for you but when you catch that revelation and that comes out of that surrendered spirit your life will be transformed forever. Not being a people pleaser but being a God pleaser and there's two different thoughts. Let your heart please the Lord but how do you do that in many cases you must please and prefer others over yourself. All of us have touch points in life where we know God touched us. where God literally touched me, but I've had a dozen if not more, but those touch points were Supernatural Revelation coming into our hearts and changed you totally and completely from the inside out. In many respects you became more selfless, like Christ was selfless,
not preferring yourself but preferring others out of that love that was selfless and unconditional.
I love dogs and they have such unconditional love. Dogs they love unconditionally. You know what unconditional love is like if you forget to feed them or take him out for his nightly constitution and he does it in the house and you get upset with them. They still love you, but the thing is that they are a perfect example of unconditional love our love not dogs but our love must be so unconditional and thereby fulfilling scripture.
Our human love says if you do right things to me than I'll do your right. You do me wrong, I'll cut off your head," and that's the way humanity is, but that's not God’s will. Walk in God's will, challenge the world, and you'll be hated. Why was Jesus crucified because He was hated by the world because He carried the presence of the Father. When you understand you're a carrier of Christ in you, you have it so much better than the old covenant. The new covenant releases God for us, He is here. for unbelievers don’t understand, but those that understand the scripture that says it is no longer I that live, it's not a far-off thing, it's present tense, it's no longer I that live, it's for you knowing the heart of the Father until you surrender, and He'll lead you probably to unexpected places. I couldn't even spell Bulgaria and yet find myself there. We do have an amazing society in Canada.
But it’s very easy for us to highlight all the blessings we got, and I'm grateful for all those, but should we be more highlighting the sacrifice of love that the Lord Jesus made for us? The hardest thing for the rich one young ruler is to put away his riches, sell them all, and come follow Me. I'm not saying the Lord's going to ask everybody to do that, but where are our priorities? God’s kingdom, and I know I'm walking in my apostolic call to bring this message of conviction, and we would not play Church but be the church that the Lord has called us to be on fire hearing the Father's voice. Galatians 5:22-23 "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law". Philippians 2:5 says, "Let the same attitude and purpose, and humble mind be in You which was in Christ Jesus let him be your example in humility”. Much love.
