Kingdom Dynamics!

It’s ok to dream again. A lot of time people give up on a dream that the Lord has given them. I am here to tell you it’s ok to dream again. This message was birthed at the end of ministry at a local service here in Alberta. I believe that by the spirit of the Lord there is a release for it. I additionally beieve that we can do nothing but by the Spirit of Revelation which is imparted to every true believer.

It’s ok to dream, it ok to grab a hold of it. Don’t drop it, just keep going. The moment I released that I believe something shifts in the heavenly. I totally and completely believe those things can happen by the spirit of the Lord in your heart and all of our lives.

I believe something was actioned in the spirit on June 6, 2021 exactly 77 years since the invasion of Normandy on D-day June 6, 1944. The enemy embarked on this defeat of Normandy June 6th 1944. I believe there is spiritual significance to this natural warfare, which to a degree parallels our spiritual condition.. There was a lot of preparation and details put together in the invasion of Normandy, but June 6th 1944 saw an invasion of such significance like no other. It was the turning point in history. I want to release something to you, something that has been on my heart for many years. I believe the enemy is on the run. and is now resorting to great acts of desperation.

Until the time of the Normandy invasion, it appeared in the natural that the allies were actually losing against the Axis powers. It looked like the allies were going to lose the war, and by the way it looked like Christ was going to lose when HE went to the cross. Many times when it looks the darkest that is when light appears. I am excited about what the Lord wants to release each and every day. I believe tomorrow is going to be in sync and so on for days to come. We cannot let our direction be determined by our natural sight. Who is building and what is HE building? There are a number of scriptures I want to go to, The Lord is the master builder and he knows what he is doing. I don’t have a clue about many things in life and I am not afraid to make that statement, but he does.

I want to go to Genesis 1:2. Have you ever noticed there are a lot of things incomplete out there? Do you ever feel incomplete or inadequate? There is a reality that there is something in every one of us that the Holy Spirit has to infuse into each one of us. It’s ok to feel inadequate and that you don’t know what you’re doing.

God says he uses the foolish things of the world to confound the wise. What people don’t like to see is probably what God will use. That’s why I am not so enamored with gifts. How many know that Christians have gifts. I am more enamored with other things like the character of Christ, surrender and going lower, and those that are humble, and those are the people I draw upon and want to be close to. Giftings are gifts. We all love gifts (or at least I do).

Let’s go to Genesis 1. Whether you like to think it or not… in yourself you are incomplete. Every person is born into dysfunction through sin. There is a remedy for that. It is found in the free gift through the cross which quite literally completes us when we accept Christ. It is no longer I that live but CHRIST living in and through me. This is not some far off promise but should be a reality through the power of the Holy Spirit operating in our lives.

Sometimes we may feel that way with no purpose or direction. Empty going day in and day out. What is this all about Lord? Why am I here? This is what we ask all the time whether we are aware of it or not. Why do I react a certain way or get angry? Why is there so much turmoil and chaos surrounding everyday life? Why is there so much anger and frustration? A simple answer is we are in the world but we are not of this world. We are heavenly invaders sent to accomplish the finished work of the cross. This may throw your theology off. There is a reality that you and I as believers are different. We are different and we are called to make a difference in a lost and dying world.

I was raised Catholic and have had a Baptist experience thrown in with a Pentecostal experience and not to forget my Lutheran experience to name a number of experiences wherein people tend to camp under with no need for anything further. My belief system tells me that this is a major mistake to camp on one particular revelation. All very important but our doctrine must remain flexible to allow for ongoing revelation to touch our hearts. Scripture is still being revealed to our hearts and mysteries and secrets in scripture still remain veiled for a coming time and season. I am not a Pentecostal although I have that experience. The same goes for my Baptist and Lutheran experience. I do not even consider myself a Protestant because I am not protesting anything. We are not protesting anything.

Someone once asked me what type of Church I was pastoring? I went to the Lord for two weeks because I didn’t know. We speak in tongues and believe in Water baptism. I felt the Lord say you are called to be a kingdom church. Anything else to me is not acceptable. I realize that we all like to put labels on people but in terms of experience I refuse a label because we can box ourselves in.

On one occasion a number of years ago I felt prompted to visit the father of a friend in the Red Deer Hospital. It was an inward prompting rather than an assignment out of my pastoral role. I went in and visited with him for 5 seconds and asked if he wanted to accept the Lord. He said Yeah. His family had been trying to lead him to the Lord for years. It may be God's plan that someone else to lead him to the Lord. I got the skinny on this guy, he was saved and three months later he died. The family asked me to conduct the service for his funeral which was being held in a neighboring province. Well, sure enough, I got lost and was a half-hour late for the start of the service. When you’re the minister and you are a half-hour late to conduct a funeral service it’s not good. It was way over by the Saskatchewan border, they finally got me on the cell phone and I finally got to where the funeral was located and they had an open casket. I happened to say when I got in there that Gordon (the deceased) was looking down and said this pastor would be late even to his own funeral. (Joke here) The master-builder (Christ was at work on this occasion).

In reality, the whole world's system is to try and make us comfortable. We need air conditioning in the summer heat in the winter. Everything is to make us comfortable so we are not in turmoil or chaos. This may throw you off but there is a better way. I told this story one morning. I am a pretty routine person, I get up at 5:00 or so and I am at my desk. One morning in the middle of winter I am in the office and I am shaving and the lights go out. My natural man was a little ticked, but I felt the Lord say that there will be a day that all these convenient things may not be available to you. I felt at that moment the thought to just kept shaving so I did. There is a reality that we are too dependent on the world and the world's system and there are safety nets that we all have and carry. One day these things will all come to an end and when it does it better be the Holy Spirit leading you. I don’t know when it’s going to happen but be ready. The bible says, be wise as serpents and as harmless as doves. Be wise and be ready. Nothing should faze you, frustrate you, or make you weary. It starts in your thinking. Let the Holy Spirit renew you.

Do you know that light penetrates into darkness but not the other way around? Has anyone heard of quantum physics? Light and sound are the very same thing. Have you ever been in a worship service and something starts to vibrate around you? I had my bible on my lap one time and it just started to vibrate with every musical sound. Sounds were vibrating the scripture. There are so many things in life that we don’t understand.

Something happens when we release words from our mouths. Why am I so opposed to negative words? Someone said to me a while ago: I don’t know if you’re telling me the truth or when you are just saying positive words for my benefit. In reality, positive words are the truth. If we don’t think that our words have an impact on the spiritual atmosphere better think again. They have more significance than you know. Why do I keep my mouth shut so much, because there are some words I don’t want to release!

Lets continue on in the scripture. 2… The Spirit of God was moving (hovering, brooding) over the face of the waters.

By the spirit of the Lord we can do this. In Genesis 1:2 when it says Hovering and brooding it is like a chicken brooding over its eggs. It is like being in an incubator, and that’s what the Holy Spirit does he hovers and incubates. To go to a new level in the Lord it is the Holy Spirit who hovers over you.

Quite a while ago now, a group of leaders came up with 25 characteristics of what you should see in a church. All of these characteristics involved drawing closer to the Lord by reaching out and touching others amongst us. I believe everyone is changed if they get the Holy Spirit in their life and we must allow the Holy Spirit to hover and incubate those who are around us. We need to have a tolerance for people, or a better word would be a certain Love for people until the Holy Spirit touches their lives.

I want the Church to be a place people can come in and not necessarily look like you, (Maybe purple hair, baseball cap, or spend an hour getting their hair up straight) but there is a reality that this needs to be a safe place for everybody, not just you. I really believe the spirit of the Lords hovers over me and you. I don’t want to be the same tomorrow as I am today. How about you?

Lets go to another scripture, Jeremiah 1: "10See, I have this day appointed you to the oversight of the nations and of the kingdoms to root out and pull down, to destroy and to overthrow, to build and to plant."

The mandate of Heaven is really contained in this. The lord only tears down to do one thing. Build it up. We can apply that to our lives and virtually everything that the Lords touch. He tears down only to build it better. The Lord is a Master builder. If you are tearing something down you better be prepared to build it back up because that is what the Lord desires in our lives.

Jeremiah 24: 6-7 "6For I will set My eyes upon them for good, and I will bring them again to this land; and I will build them up and not pull them down"

He will set his eyes upon you for good. This is for me and you. This is for the nation of Israel but just as applicable for our lives.

6…. and I will plant them and not pluck them up.

I want to talk for a second on the word planting. In Psalms, it states that people planted in the house of Lord with flourish like a Palm tree. Where is a palm tree? Normally in a dry and hot climate. Not everyone is planted in the Church. They may attend but are not planted. The Lord is calling us to be planted and flourishing. It doesn’t matter where you are planted. I want you to be planted somewhere so when the storms come you are planted. I don’t care where but be planted, because I want your relationship with the Lord to grow.

7And I will give them a heart to know (recognize, understand, and be acquainted with) Me, that I am the Lord; and they will be My people, and I will be their God, for they will return to Me with their whole heart.

The Lord is looking for your whole heart, not a piece of it, all of it. He doesn’t want anything else in your heart other than him.

Mathew 16:1818And I tell you, you are [a]Peter [Greek, Petros--a large piece of rock], and on this rock [Greek, petra--a [b]huge rock like Gibraltar] I will build My church, and the gates of Hades (the powers of the [c]infernal region) shall [d]not overpower it [or be strong to its detriment or hold out against it].

The Lord is the ultimate builder who created the universe and is still building it as it continue to expand. I am not trying to build the Church. I want the Lord to build it because he is the Master. Yes I am being used in building the Church. Have you got a dream tonight, let the Lord build it. He is the master builder.

What happens when the Lord gives you a dream, what happens when the Lord gives you something. All hell comes against it. When you are focused on advancing the Kingdom of God whether it is in your life or the life of your family, I will tell you right now all hell comes against it. No matter what it is. God is the Master builder he knows what he is doing. If you keep your eyes on the Master builder it will be built. 100% of the time that I have been focused on advancing the Kingdom of God 100% of the time there has been opposition. I am not talking people now, we are talking about spiritual opposition. Like going to Bible School, and well-intended people told me I had a great career and I was doing well where I was at. This was all true.

There is a scripture that says you can do good things but not God things. Well intended well meaning people saying you shouldn’t go to bible school, or be a Pastor, or do a conference. Well-intended well-meaning people being used by the enemy. Remember Peter's total revelation of Christ when asked by the Lord who do you say I am: four verses later Jesus says to Peter, Get you behind me Satan. Not that he was Satan, but he wasn’t mindful of the kingdom of God.

Why wasn’t he mindful, because of the sole relationship he had with Jesus? He didn’t want to see Jesus go to the cross. I would have done the same thing, and in reality, so would we all. We don’t want to see anyone go through Pain but if the Kingdom of God would advance we must be mindful of God working through pain Chances are God won’t do things the way we do it. Unless we have the mind of Christ, me doing it the way he wants it done we cannot and will not be mindful of HIS kingdom. People may not be of Satan but they are not always mindful of the things of God.

Just like watching Jesus go to the cross. No one wanted to see him go through that; however, it was totally and completely God’s plan. We need to understand that the Lord uses everything to advance his Kingdom. Sometimes when something bad happens we think that only good things should be happening. The reality is that sometimes these things happen, and it’s called suffering. There are three types of suffering in the scripture. 1) suffering because we are in the world, 2) suffering because we are Christians, and 3) because there is sin in our lives. We only have control over 1/3 and that is the sin element. We don’t have control over two thirds of the suffering that might impact our lives.

Paul wanted to go to Rome only to be shipwrecked on the way, he had a divine purpose and he understood the mandate of heaven. God wants to impart this on us, don’t despise the fires that are going on. Everybody has something going on at some point or another. What is the Lord using those things to achieve in your life? What is he doing? What is the reality? He is the master builder. But along the way in your journey when you are giving the mandate of heaven there is going to be opposition. For everyone there is a mandate of heaven. You are not an accident you are here on divine assignment and it is a divine appointment for this point and time. There will be things coming against you at some point and time. The book of Nehemiah chronicles the enemy's purpose in stopping the rebuilding of the walls of Jerusalem. There are things that will try and come against you all the way along. 1) ridicule and mockery – we need to see things the way the Lord sees things. these things are to get you off track. Nehemiah 4:2 2And he said before his brethren and the army of Samaria, What are these feeble Jews doing?

Nehemiah had a mandate from Heaven would that be a fair statement. Rebuild the temple, and rebuild Jerusalem. Rebuild rebuild what has been torn down, the enemy has come in now it is time to re build. The mandate of heaven, the King of Persia says go. Sanballat and Tobiah; are two players on the scene of the rebuilding opposing Nehemiah. Sanballat's name means God of Sin being glorified.

We must understand that Nehemiah's mandate from the Lord was to rebuild Jerusalem but it would be plagued by opposition. Any mandate from the Lord will be opposed.

Samballat and Tobiah are trying to ridicule and mock the mandate of God. Nehemiah saw through all of this and rather then focusing on the opposition he continued to build. Like Nehemiah, we all need the eyes of the Lord to see. We need to judge the way the Lord sees things, righteously. They mocked and ridiculed what was going on to get them off track. Has anyone been off track? Have you ever been mocked and ridiculed for doing what God has asked? Verse 7-8 7But when Sanballat, Tobiah, the Arabians, Ammonites, and Ashdodites heard that the walls of Jerusalem were going up and that the breaches were being closed, they were very angry. 8And they all plotted together to come and fight against Jerusalem, to injure and cause confusion and failure in it.

Has anyone been mad at you because of the mandate you haveplaced inside your heart and life? They may not say it but they really are angry. The enemy does not like it when people have the mandate of God, and that you are not backing off your mandate. There will be opposition plain and simple. People don’t want you to be a Christian so why wouldn’t you think people will have a problem with you getting closer to God. You are going to be opposed, get over it. Have this understanding and say I am walking with the Lord. There are patterns you need to understand these patterns.

Verse 10-11 10And [the leaders of] Judah said, The strength of the burden bearers is weakening, and there is much rubbish;

There is a lot of Rubbish out there, mounds of it. Rubbish is garbage and there is a lot of it out there. This is to discourage them (and you). They tried the anger intimidation, ridicule now they are going to try this bit. They prayed for 52 days before they built this wall. That is why I am so happy for the lives of intercessors. More time spent in prayer. If there is no prayer before service we notice this as a staff. Worship goes on 24/7 in the heavenly realm and we tap into it like a vain when we come to Church. It becomes easier and easier to tap in when we are constantly getting into the presence of the Lord through worship.

Let’s go to Chapter 6. You know if the enemy can’t do it he will hire someone else to do it. This is a reality.

Nehemiah 6:2 2Sanballat and Geshem sent to me, saying, Come, let us meet together in one of the villages in the plain of Ono. But they intended to do me harm.

Now lets keep going to Nehemiah 6:10-19

10I went into the house of Shemaiah son of Delaiah, the son of Mehetabel, who was shut up. He said, Let us meet together in the house of God, within the temple, and let us shut the doors of the temple, for they are coming to kill you--at night they are coming to kill you.

This is escalating now they are trying to kill you. But there is one that has been killed for us. If you are declaring the mandate of heaven you will have opposition. Your life will be opposed. I am not asking for it, but there is a reality that is in the scripture. It is not this nicey Christianese. You are in a war whether you know it or not. There is a war raging to take you off the mandate of heaven. If they haven’t been able to get to you they will introduce new elements to get to you. Let’s go back to the scripture and then tie it up.

11But I said, Should such a man as I flee? And what man such as I could go into the temple [where only the priests are allowed to go] and yet live? I will not go in.

Let go very quickly to Chapter 6: 14

14My God, think on Tobiah and Sanballat according to these their works, and on the prophetess Noadiah and the rest of the prophets who would have put me in fear.

When you have a dream it will be opposed. If it’s from God it will be opposed. I felt the Lord say, when you start to dream again things will happen there will be mockery and opposition. If you stay steadfast in faith in spite of what happens around you the Kingdom will be build. Your life has meaning and is significant to heavenly plans and purposes. You may think you are a nobody or nothing but be constantly aware the spiritual is swirling around you. You are precise to the Lord. Much love!
