Focused attention!

ree

When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, The moon and the stars, which You have ordained, What is man that You are mindful of him, And the son of man that You

visit him? For You have made him a little lower than the angels, And You have crowned him with glory and honour. (Psalm 8:3-5 NKJV).

The Lord’s desire is to visit us and provide us with supernatural revelation to allow us to live out our lives which will establish His Kingdom. There is an acceleration taking place, and it is by the Spirit of the Lord. The Lord is doing great things, and we need to put our expectation out there and to be truly lead by the spirit of the Lord. With God nothing is impossible. His mercies are new every day for our breakthroughs. “Through the LORD’s mercies we are not consumed, Because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness” (Lamentations 3:22-23 NKJV).

I want to give you some background about a man who was around when the Lord was born. His name was Simeon. Luke 2:25:

"Now there was a man in Jerusalem called Simeon, who was righteous and devout. He was waiting for the consolation of Israel, and the Holy Spirit was on him."

I find it interesting that the scripture here states that the Holy Spirit was "ON HIM" which was at a time before Christ's crucifixion and the release of the power of the Holy Spirit to those gathered in the upper room on the day of Pentecost. I have studied the life of Simeon and found that he was called Simeon the Righteous. Some of the studies I have come across say that Simeon was a rabbi, and he was one of the seventy-two who were writing the Scriptures in Jerusalem. He translated them from Hebrew to Greek and from Greek to Hebrew. He was a rabbi who had a tremendous revelation of the Lord and was full of supernatural understanding.

I believe there are many with a right understanding of scripture who today continue to wait for the fulfilment of scripture whether in their lifetime or not. Their hearts focused not on their survival but on the return of the Lord. My mandate is all about the presence of God out of the flow of supernatural love. It is about walking and flowing in revelation for our lives and the lives of those around us who we encompass. It is for each and every one of us. We can do nothing outside of the presence of God. I do believe that when the time is right those of this character will see clearly. You can call it the remnant but many will not be deceived because they are properly focused. I want to share things with you out of revelation, because revelation opens doors into the supernatural realm.

The Prophetic Sign

“Therefore the Lord Himself shall give you a sign: Behold, the young woman who is unmarried and a virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel [God with us]” (Isaiah 7:14 AMP).

Being a writer of the Scriptures, Simeon knew every Scripture by heart. He could quote them backwards and forwards. Jewish Christian history says Simeon went to the Lord when he came to Jerusalem. And Simeon said, “Lord, how can this be?” The Scripture in Isaiah was written hundreds of years before the Lord Jesus Christ came on the scene. Simeon may have pondered on this Scripture at a very early age. He received this word from the Lord and he inquired of the Lord about what this Scripture really said. Have you ever inquired of the Lord? Is His answer dependent on your time frame? The answer for Simeon came later in life when he was near the end of his years. He could have waited fifty or sixty years to see the fulfillment of what he believed he would see, but the key was he never gave up on His promise.

History also says that Simeon had a visitation from an angel. The Bible is full of angelic visitations. If we are led out of an experience only, we’re in a bad place. We need a visitation of the Lord. There is a realm that transcends all of our preconceived ideas and natural understanding. You will never naturally figure out the coming of the Lord. Many times the Lord has moved in my life outside of my natural understanding and trying to figure it out does not work.

When Simeon looked at this Scripture in Isaiah, he said, “Lord, how can this be?” History says that Simeon was brought into an encounter with a heavenly force. You need a heavenly force in your life. I need it too. I don’t need another degree; I need a divine encounter. Simeon was a righteous man because he had one goal and one objective. Let

me be clear, that goal and objective was the Lord Jesus Christ. Every day he would find himself in the temple. Simeon was a great orator. He could preach the Word. There was an expectation that he had after the encounter. He had one heart, one mind, one focus, and that was to see the comforter of Israel coming, so God’s kingdom could be established on earth.

What a challenge to each and every one of us. Our priorities need to be in the right place.

Where is your heart, your mind, and your focus? I believe the Lord is releasing the church in an unprecedented way. My focus has never been more intent. In every service, I expect the Lord to manifest His presence with signs following. Do you walk into church with that expectation? If you do, then He is more than able to meet that expectation. There is something that matches an expectation of God.

Here Simeon is in the temple, writing the Scriptures, and he comes to one and says, “Lord, I need revelation on this Scripture.” History says that an angel of the Lord came to him and gave him revelation; from that moment onward he was headed in one direction: “I will see the Lord Jesus Christ.” That was his expectation.

What is your expectation? Expect to see Him at work at every service you go to when the supernatural is present. Expect to see Him when you’re studying His word. I’m not

taking my focus off. Is God willing enough to give you a visitation? Simeon may have been in the synagogue on the Mount of Zion right where the golden temple is. He was there diligently day in and day out. He was waiting for the Lord. It could have been fifty

years—and at the end of his life, the Lord blessed him. Why? The Lord blessed Simeon because there was one man who expected the Lord, one man who expected to see his salvation, and the Lord honoured that. Will He honour the things He has given you? He will

honour those things with one whose heart is expecting. It had been revealed to Simeon that he would not see death before he had seen the Lord, Christ, the Messiah; the anointed one.

Have you received a promise from the Lord? Do you want divine communication? I want nothing less than divine communication. Are you expecting every week? I am. I am going to spend more time with the Lord. “But those who wait on the LORD Shall renew their strength” (Isaiah 40:31 NKJV). You are going to get what you expect: If you expect something from the Lord, you are going to receive it.

Even though it was forty days after Jesus’ birth that He was brought into the temple, just think—there was a man waiting his whole life to see the consolation of Israel! When I saw this I was moved, and that is the heart the Lord is releasing. That needs to be your heart. We will not miss the appointed visitation. We must not take our eyes off the high call of who He really is, a revelation of who He is and that His desire is to come into our lives. Believe HE hears every prayer and declare Ephesians 1:17-19:17 over your life which states:

"I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit[a] of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better.18 I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people,19 and his incomparably great power for us who believe."

That power is the same as the mighty strength If you want this for your life, pray the following prayer:

Lord, I am desperate. Where the Scripture says that I can come boldly to the throne of grace, I thank You that You have made a way. Let me have spiritual eyes and ears. I ask for a new passion and love to be released from the throne room. Let the revelation of what I’ve read penetrate to my bones and marrow. I ask for a supernatural download. Lord, I will see the consolation of Israel; I will see who You really are; I will see Your kingdom established

in this earth, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
