Fixed, firm & Spirit led.

As this year closes and the new year opens, I want to speak to you with a clear prophetic emphasis: stability is not optional in the season ahead. Peace is not a luxury. Clarity is not a bonus. Maturity is not a side topic—it is part of God’s preparation for what He’s bringing you into.

Because the enemy doesn’t need to destroy a believer if he can keep them reactive. He doesn’t need to stop your calling if he can keep your emotions constantly hijacked. He doesn’t need to silence your prayer life if he can keep your mind noisy and your heart unsettled. And one of the most consistent ways he does it is through the trap of offense.

So I’m releasing this word over you as you step into the new year:

The Lord is teaching you how to become unoffendable.

Not numb. Not passive. Not pretending. But anchored. Fixed. Firm. Covered. Led.

And the key is not your personality.

The key is not you trying harder.

The key is not you perfecting emotional discipline.

The key is where you live in the Spirit.

That’s why Psalm 91 doesn’t read like poetry to admire—it reads like a doorway for you to walk through:

“He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High

Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

I will say of the LORD, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress;

My God, in Him I will trust.’” (Psalm 91:1–2, NKJV)

This year, the Lord is not inviting you to visit the secret place. He is inviting you to dwell. To live from a sheltered inner world—so your outer world can shake without stealing your peace.

And I want each of you to come to a revelation: this lifestyle will draw you closer to the Lord. Not because you’re performing for Him, but because you’re choosing alignment with Him. And because you will be nearer to Him, your consistent lifestyle will become a living message—quietly, powerfully—causing people around you to be challenged and to walk in the obedience they’ve been called to.

You Will Not Be Dictated To By What Others Do

Let me say this prophetically: God is breaking the power of emotional control off your life. You are not stepping into this new year to be ruled by other people’s moods, reactions, inconsistencies, or opinions.

You are not called to be dictated to by what others do in your life.

You will not let their tone decide your atmosphere.

You will not let their silence decide your value.

You will not let their misunderstanding decide your identity.

You will not let their inconsistency decide your stability.

And here’s why this matters so deeply: when people control your emotions, you don’t just lose peace—you lose clarity. Many times, when that control leaves your hands, it becomes very difficult under almost any circumstances to hear the voice of the Lord.

Because God’s leading is often gentle. His direction is often quiet. His conviction is clean. But if your soul is roaring—if your mind is racing, if your emotions are flaring, if you are rehearsing what someone did—His voice can be drowned out by the noise of reaction.

So I’m calling you into a different government in your inner world:

Not people-governed.

Not emotion-governed.

Not offense-governed.

Not fear-governed.

Spirit-governed.

Perfect Peace Is a Promise — And It Has a Key

The Lord is not vague about your peace. He has promised it, and He has shown you how to keep it:

“You will keep him in perfect peace,

Whose mind is stayed on You,

Because he trusts in You.” (Isaiah 26:3, NKJV)

Perfect peace is connected to a stayed mind.

Not a mind stayed on what people did.

Not a mind stayed on what might happen.

Not a mind stayed on what should’ve happened.

Not a mind stayed on offense, anxiety, and interpretation.

A mind stayed on Him.

So this year, God is teaching you to return to peace quickly. Not because nothing will happen—but because you will no longer live reaction-led. You will learn to come back under His shadow fast. You will learn to stop feeding what disturbs you. You will learn to guard the gates of your inner world.

And I declare this over you:

You will not be scattered.

You will not be hijacked.

You will not be recruited by the enemy through emotional turbulence.

You will remain steady enough to hear God clearly.

The Answer Is Not a Natural Remedy — It’s the Spirit of God

People will offer you “natural remedies” for offense: “Don’t take it personally.” “Let it go.” “Calm down.” “Be mature.” Those can sound right—and sometimes they’re helpful.

But the Holy Spirit is emphasizing something deeper:

The answer is not willpower. The answer is the Spirit of God.

Because you can master your tone and still be ruled by offense. You can look composed and still be inwardly bitter. You can do the right thing outwardly while your spirit is out of alignment.

So in this coming year, you’re not just being called to discipline—you’re being called to dependence. In everything else in your life, you must be led by the Spirit of God—so why would this area be any different?

There will be moments He leads you to speak.

There will be moments He leads you to stay silent.

There will be moments He leads you to confront with humility.

There will be moments He leads you to cover with mercy.

There will be moments He leads you to walk away without explanation.

There will be moments He leads you to pray instead of argue.

You are not stepping into a year of formulas. You are stepping into a year of guidance.

You will be led.

You will be sharpened.

You will discern faster.

You will recover quicker.

You will hear clearer.

Offense Is a Thief — And You’re Not Carrying It Into the New Year

Offense steals peace.

It steals discernment.

It steals joy.

It steals energy.

It steals tenderness.

It steals spiritual momentum.

Offense always promises protection but delivers captivity.

And here is a truth the Lord wants established in you:

You cannot be robbed if you refuse to allow the enemy to rob you.

The enemy can present the bait. He cannot force you to bite.

The trap doesn’t work unless you swallow it.

The hook doesn’t hold unless you take it personally.

So this year, God is giving you the grace to forgive quickly—not because everyone deserves it, but because your heart is not a prison. He is giving you the strength to bless—not because everything is fair, but because you are free. He is giving you wisdom to release—not because you are weak, but because you are anchored.

So I declare over you:

Offense breaks off of you.

Bitterness has no home in you.

The need to be understood by everyone loses its power.

The addiction to being right is replaced with the desire to be aligned.

Your heart stays clean. Your spirit stays clear.

Self on the Throne Is Always God Out of View

Here is the line that keeps you honest—and keeps you free: self on the throne is always God out of view.

Any time self reigns, you will miss God. Because when self is ruling, everything becomes personal. Your rights. Your image. Your comfort. Your timing. Your need to be validated. Your need to win. And once self is ruling, offense isn’t far behind—because offense is self insisting it must be protected.

But when Jesus reigns, you stop living from ego and start living from obedience.

You stop asking, “How do I feel about this?” as the first question, and you start asking, “Holy Spirit, what are You saying? What are You doing? How do You want me to respond?”

Because self leads you into reaction. The Spirit leads you into alignment.

And I believe this is a year of dethronement for many of you—where Christ takes deeper Lordship over your inner world.

You Will Give Account for Your Attitudes Too

And let me add this, because the Holy Spirit is raising the standard in this hour: it’s not only our words and our actions that matter—our attitudes matter too. I believe that when we stand before the Lord, we will not only give account for what we said and what we did, but under the New Covenant we will also give account for what we carried in our spirit—what we entertained in our hearts—what we allowed to grow in our inner world.

Because in the Kingdom, attitude is not “personality,” it is alignment.

You can do the right thing outwardly while holding the wrong posture inwardly.

You can speak correctly while carrying resentment.

You can serve while simmering.

You can obey externally while resisting internally.

But the Lord is after truth in the inward parts. And He is shaping a people whose obedience is not only accurate, but clean—whose speech is not only restrained, but pure—whose behavior is not only moral, but Spirit-governed.

So I’m declaring over you as you step into this new year: your attitude will come under the Lordship of Jesus. You will not just act right—you will be made right inwardly. You will not just manage your reactions—you will be transformed in your inner man. And as your attitude is purified, your peace will deepen, your hearing will sharpen, and your relationships will begin to feel the fruit of the Holy Spirit in tangible ways.

The Unexpected Will Happen — But It Will Not Hijack You

You are not stepping into a year with no surprises. The unexpected will happen. People will surprise you. Plans will shift. Doors will open you didn’t anticipate, and some doors will close that you assumed would remain.

But here is what the Spirit is emphasizing: it’s not the unexpected that determines your life—it’s how you respond to the unexpected.

Shock can make people speak too fast.

Fear can make people decide too quickly.

Offense can make people burn bridges God never asked them to burn.

Panic can make people leave places God asked them to endure.

So God is giving you grace ahead of time: when the unexpected happens, you will pause, pray, listen, and obey.

And I declare:

You will not spiral.

You will not catastrophize.

You will not decide from fear.

You will hear the Holy Spirit, and you will respond with wisdom.

Relationships Will Strategically Improve

I want to speak this clearly over you: relationships in the coming year will strategically improve. Not necessarily because everyone changes overnight, but because you become steadier, clearer, and more Spirit-led.

As peace increases, you stop bleeding into relationships.

As identity strengthens, you stop demanding constant validation.

As the Spirit governs you, you stop trying to control outcomes through emotion.

This year you will recognize patterns faster. You will discern access. You will stop over-explaining. You will stop chasing. You will stop being manipulated by guilt, pressure, or fear.

Toxic cycles break.

Confusion lifts.

Manipulation loses access.

Healthy connections strengthen.

Divine alignments increase.

Your relationships align with your assignment.

You love without losing yourself.

You forgive without returning to bondage.

God Is Bringing You Into Perfect Rest

Perfect rest is not passive—it’s powerful. It is the rest of trusting God while moving forward. It is the rest of obeying without anxiety. It is the rest of surrendering control and gaining clarity.

And I sense this strongly: many of you are being brought into a new realm of His perfect rest.

Not because responsibilities disappear, but because striving breaks.

Not because battles vanish, but because peace governs you inside the battle.

Not because people stop being unpredictable, but because you stop living as though you must manage everything.

This is the year you learn the shelter of the Most High—not as a sermon line, but as a home.

New Year Declarations Over You

So as you step into the new year, I’m putting Spirit-filled declarations in your mouth:

You will dwell in the secret place of the Most High.

You will abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

You will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in Him I will trust.” (Psalm 91:1–2)

He will keep you in perfect peace as you stay your mind on Him. (Isaiah 26:3)

You will not be controlled by people.

You will not be ruled by moods.

You will not be trapped by offense.

You will not be robbed of peace.

You will not be dictated to by what others do.

You will be directed by the power of the Holy Spirit.

The unexpected will happen, but it will not hijack you.

Your response will be prayer, discernment, and obedience.

You will not partner with fear.

You will not surrender your peace.

Your relationships will strategically improve.

Your discernment will sharpen.

Your peace will deepen.

Your hearing will clarify.

And your life will reflect the stability of Christ—so that others are challenged, drawn, and awakened to walk in the obedience they’ve been called to.

Father, seal this word in every heart that receives it. Teach them the secret place as a lifestyle. Deliver them from offense. Cleanse motives. Still their souls. Sharpen their hearing. Govern emotions by Your Spirit. And let this year be marked by unstealable peace, strategic relational strengthening, and a deepening rest in Your presence.

In Jesus’ name. Amen. Much love.
