And we come boldly into the throne of Your grace. I want you to get a picture in your mind of standing before the Lord right now. He is so real and he is so h- here, the Scripture says so. So Lord, we know that every word that is spoken in this place tonight, let it come into alignment with Your Word. Lord, let my words not be mine, but Yours, that we are after everything of You in our hearts and our lives tonight in the name of Jesus.
And Lord, for these precious ones that are gathered in this place, that have come out on Friday night, not Saturday night, but Friday night to hear and have a supernatural visitation- Yes. ... from You, Lord. And we thank You that it truly is You. And Lord, just use my words to touch lives, to impact for the Kingdom of God tonight. Lord, that each of us, in our own way tonight can go higher with You.
Lord, whe- whether we're at 50% with You, Lord, that we would be consumed by You, that You would be the desire of our hearts tonight. Oh, precious Savior, wonderful Lord, in the things that I share tonight, Lord, let them line up by Your Spirit tonight. Not my words, not my will, but let Your will be done in this place. And Lord, one of the most favorite things I can say, Lord, that it would not be me that lives, but Christ that liveth in me.
And Lord, let it be the hope of glory, let it be Your presence that not only captures our hearts and our lives tonight, but Lord, that we would be transformed by the Holy Spirit tonight and truly walk in supernatural Christianity- Yes. ... which truly is what You desire for us to walk in. Yes. Lord, that we would be a demonstration of the Kingdom of God, that I would be a demonstration of the Kingdom of God.
And Lord, in this place tonight, that there be signs, wonders, and miracles- Yes. ... for every person in this place. Yes. And Lord, we lay aside our own personal agendas tonight- Yes. ... and we go after You. And Lord, let that consumption of our hearts, Lord, prepare us for what You desire to do. Yes. And I declare, not only for me but for every person, and we say, "Thy kingdom come." Let it pour into this place.
And Lord, as I say those words, I see legions of angels streaming into this sanctuary tonight, just storming in to this place. Lord, let them bring cups of refreshing to these precious ones that are gathered in this place and those that are watching over the internet tonight in the name of Jesus, that You would bring that refreshing to them. Those that have wanted to give up, you may be here tonight and you've wanted to give up, and Lord, we say no.
We are captivated by the presence of Your love for us, Lord. And Lord, every place that we go, every person that we talk to, that we would understand that each of those things is a divine appointment that we will not miss. Yes. Everything, the Holy Spirit, the presence is increasing in this place- Yes. ... tonight, in Jesus' name. Yes. In Jesus' name, healings for bodies in the name of Jesus. Negative reports over individuals is broken tonight.
Lord, let there be a positive report. Yes. Who's had to go to the doctor in, uh, the month of, um, July, this month? Has anybody gone to the doctor in this place? You wanna stand? I'm gonna pray over you-... in the name of Jesus. Yeah. It's too many. In the name of Jesus. I wanna come against fear. I wanna come against pressure. I wanna come against the negative report in the name of Jesus. And I ask for angels to go to each and every one of you in the name of Jesus.
And Lord, let there be a reversal in conditions in the name of Jesus in this place tonight in Jesus' name. I'm going to go around to each and every one of you. The presence of the Lord is here. And I don't get this because I'm smart. I get it by the spirit. And so Holy Spirit, reverse the things that need to be reversed. And Lord, let them know that they're not going under but they are going over in the name of Jesus.
And Holy Spirit, where there's been negative reports and it looks overwhelming at times, we break off every one of these things, every one of these reports in the name of Jesus, and I declare for their lives a good report today in the name of Jesus. Satan, take your hands off each of them in Jesus' name, and let your glory fall in the name of Jesus. More, Lord. More. We ask for more- Yes. ... in the name of Jesus.
And bring- My husband. Okay. He's got To take care of it. Okay. And so for your husband, in the name of Jesus, we just cover him now. And Lord, um, that fear, when it tries to enter, that it will not and it's broken in the name of Jesus tonight. And Holy Spirit, do the work that you need to do in the name of Jesus. All that fear, all that pressure, let it go in the name of Jesus. That's a trick and a lie of the enemy to destroy each of you.
The fear that comes on because of that negative report, in Jesus' name. And Holy Spirit, I ask that you would bring a reversal in the name of Jesus. In the name of Jesus. Go in deep, Lord, and you do the work in the name of Jesus. Lord, we don't accept these things, and we rebuke the devourer tonight. We rebuke the enemy and his attacks in Jesus' name. In the name of Jesus, I thank you for miracles, miracles, miracles, miracles, miracles.
We don't focus on what we walk through. We focus on the Kingdom of God. And I declare the glory of the Lord will rise upon you. The scripture says that it will be seen on you. And the breakthrough that is available for you, and it will be a total reversal, a total and complete reversal in the name of Jesus. And I thank you for signs, wonders, and miracles tonight in this place. And for those that are watching over the internet, Lord, wherever you're struggling, I sense there's some that are struggling with your emotions right now, and that your emotions come into alignment with God's kingdom tonight.
Yes. You will not be led by your emotions. You will be led by the spirit of the Lord- Amen. ... and His word, His plans, His purposes, His destiny upon your lives in Jesus' name. Amen. We release it, and with it, the rest of the Lord for you. You know, the Lord's seen every tear that you've shed over the years, every tear, and He's heard every prayer in the name of Jesus. And nothing is impossible for Him.
Your life, nothing is impossible for Him. And there's a new level of authority that's coming, and you will declare a thing and you will see it established. You will not be tossed to and fro, but you will be firm and fixed under the shelter of the Most High, and I release it today. Your confidence in the Lord is a sure sign of the enemy's destruction. In Jesus' name I pray. Holy Spirit, we thank you that you are in our midst tonight.
And Holy Spirit, we ask you-... just to do the work in the name of Jesus. And tonight, as I was driving here, I got a picture, a vision of you in my mind. And you were climbing the mountain of the Lord- Yes. And Moses was pulling you by the hand up the mountain, and he's saying, "You cannot rest, you have to go to the next level." Oh. And he's taking you by the hand up the mountain that the Israelites refused to go up.
But he's called you and he's chosen you to go up this mountain. And along the way, it's a challenge and it's a struggle. Yes. But God has ordained you, I'm saying ordained you, to go up that mountain and you will come under the cloud of glory. Thank you. When you reach the level that the Lord has got for you, the glory of the Lord will descend on you. Yes. And in that moment there will be a great love for those that have abused you in the past.
Yes. Those that have broken trust, those that have betrayed you, you will walk in a great love towards them. They will no longer be your focus, they no longer will receive your attention because the Spirit of the Lord has released them through your words. And so tonight, I declare that those things are broken off of you tonight. Yes. You don't have to focus on those things, you don't have to look at those things, but you know that the Lord has ordained tonight for such a time as this.
Because the call is not only on you, the call is on your family. Yes, it is. And they will achieve what God wants them to achieve, and you will be a light- Yes. ... for your family that you will not talk in negative words, you will talk in the positive direction that comes by the Holy Spirit. Yes, amen. You will not say a negative word about anyone. Yes. From this moment onwards, you will speak life- Yes.
... over everyone and every place you go. Amen. Amen. And I release this for her in the name of Jesus. And see yourself going up that mountain and the cloud of glory descending upon you in the name of Jesus. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. So be it, let it be done according to your Word. Now, let me say this, if, um, any word I give, it's not only for her, you can claim those words, too. Okay? She was specifically identified when I was driving here this afternoon, I guess tonight, but you can claim those words also, okay?
And so don't be afraid to step out. And I've been seeing every place I go now, every time I'm around a mountain, I see the cloud of glory coming down on that mountain. That's so good. And it, it, and in the natural I'm seeing it. Okay. I was in Athens, uh, Greece last month and right as soon as I get out the airport, here's a cloud that's over top and obscuring the vision of the top. God does something at the top.
Amen. Under the cloud of glory. And then when I'm in the villages, and you haven't been to this one, but where we're holding the conference in September, it's in a place called Yugota. That's the pronunciation in Bulgarian. And you know what that name Yugota means in English? No. It means strawberry. That's right. So there's a town called Strawberry and it's... and the name really is Yugota. But there's mountains, not like our Rocky Mountains, but sort of flatter mountains, smoother mountains.
And, and every time I go there, there's probably without a doubt, um, not very many times where there's not a cloud. And you know what that tells me? Revival. Amen. Yes. Revival. And I've been declaring... It's a small group that I go and I minister to there, a very small group like this size. And I keep declaring over them that the Holy Spirit can not only move there because it's sort of, um, it, it, how should I put it?
Okay, I'll put it this way, it's sort of a demonic community, okay? The power of the devil is in there, but there's a remnant and that remnant are going to rise up, that community is going to be saved and that community will spread revival throughout not only Bulgaria, but all throughout Europe. Amen. And you know what I also believe? That when we do the conference, this is the very first conference that they've done and they're stepping out in faith, they've never done it before, and they're believing that this conference is, it's a two-day conference, this conference will usher in the Spirit of the Lord, that's what they're believing for.
So I travel all over Bulgaria and I'm telling people to show up.... because something supernaturally is going to happen. So, if there's anybody walking from Bulgari- uh, watching from Bulgaria right now, know that this will be the will of the Lord for this to be achieved. And they don't have the money to do it. But I say, that's great, because when we don't know and we don't have, if it's of God, it will produce.
Amen. In the name of Jesus. Amen? Okay. Give the Lord a clap offering. And I don't know if I preached it. I, you know, I- I'm booked now until the end of October, not only in Bulgaria but I'll be here for the conference at the en- in the middle of October. And, uh, and you know what? Me- uh, I don't have the resources to do anything, but God supernaturally always brings the resources. And I'm living proof of that, by the way.
He does it. He's the God of the impossible. Amen. Yes. You know? And, and so, I tell people every, every place I go, and this isn't a sermon, um, but you know what? Hebrews 11:1, it says, "Now faith is the..." what? Substance. "Substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." Do you understand that? Yes. Not seen. And many times I say this, "If you've seen it, it's probably not God." You know, we have to have all our ducks in a row before we step out and do anything.
But really, is that God? Yes. You know, I'm not against those things, don't get me wrong, but what does the Bible say faith is? The substance. The substance. I've talked about this many times here, that this- we put more trust in this chair sometimes holding us up. We don't even think about it. Well, what about standing in faith, believing that God's going to do something? Come on. What about that?
When all the circumstances line up totally against you? Have you ever had your circumstances not line up? Of course. And what do we do? We can back down if we want, but if we're men and women of God, we stand in faith. And where the scripture says, "After having done all, stand." Okay, this is a word for somebody today. With man, it's impossible. But with God, all things are possible. Amen? Amen.
And so, tonight, I wanna talk about, and I'm- and I- I may have talked about it here before, being a laid-down lover of the Lord, just laying our lives down, just to love Him more every day. I've said it h- here and many other places, the Bible is a love story. Look at somebody and say, "It's a love story." It's a love story. And really, if it isn't love, why would we want it? Yes. You know? Um, even obeying the commandments of the Lord is done out of love.
Do you understand that? Yes. Do you? Do you really? It's- we don't have to go like this, "Ah, I've got to do this." No. I do it because I love Him. Yes. Why do I love Him? Because He first loved me. Yes. It's not the other way around. So when you're tempted to swear, when you... You know, I was delivered of swearing almost instantaneously when I got saved. I was, um, a swear freak. Every second word was a swear word.
And, uh, and that was my upbringing. Everybody in my family s- swore, but you know what? They're all saved. Amen. Amen. They still swear though. But anyway, I keep telling them, "You know, you can be free of that." But anyway, um, I'm just being honest. Is that okay? And, and so there's, um... And I was saying this tonight, I think it was to you, that, um, God has a rest points in our lives where He actually takes us and puts a stop sign in front of us.
And He says, "Peter, this is a turning point in your life." And He still has turning points for me. None of us have arrived, okay? When we think we've arrived, that's a lie from the devil. And so, I've had probably 10, maybe 12 arrest points in my life where the Lord, when I look back in retrospect, and I look at it, I say, "Yeah, the Lord changed the direction of my life here. He changed the direction of my life there. He changed it here," and so on, and so on, and so on.
You know, I'm in Bulgaria half the year, and maybe a little bit more sometimes, and I couldn't even spell Bulgaria, let alone go there. But the Holy Spirit does things very funny-His ways are higher than our ways. Okay? And so, stop trying to figure God out. Gonna say it again, stop trying to figure God out. Your mind can never, ever wrap around God. Yes. Think about it. Yes. Think about it. My oh my oh my.
But when it's Him, your life will be better. You may have opposition, but your life will be in communion with Him. Yeah. And don't be afraid of the opposition. Okay? Don't allow the opposition. As a matter of fact, um, if you have opposition, just tell the devil, "I'm gonna get closer to the Lord, not further away." Okay? You kick him in the butt. Oh, yes. Or the front, whatever you wanna do. That's ...
Now, I'm talking about being a lay-down lover, and that's my call. I'm called to that. Just laying my life down. Uh, what does Jesus look like? And if we're to look like Jesus, I'm gonna guarantee, He had the will of the Father every moment of His day. And, you know, we're human beings and, and Jesus was also, and He was tempted in all things. I want you to hear this today. He was tempted in everything that we are tempted in.
Think about it. Everything. Anybody ever been angry here? Everybody... Is there anybody that didn't wanna like somebody? I cry over this, actually. On the cross, He said, "Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do." I wanna be like that. I wanna walk like that. Hello? I had a phone call a little while ago, uh, just before the service started, and actually I was the one, I don't know how I did it.
I- I talked into my earbuds or some- something and then my phone was calling somebody that I haven't talked to in, in three years. So, maybe that was a divine appointment. Yes. I don't know. Yeah. But anyway, uh, I don't know where I was, but I'll continue anyway. And so, don't waste a thing that comes against your life. You hear me? Don't waste a thing. Say, "I'm gonna use this for the Kingdom of God." Yes.
We okay? It is. Everything. Everything. Have you ever had such a day that actually everything that day goes wrong? Yes. You ever had a day like that? Yes. Maybe it was today. Yes. And, you know- Yes. ... I s- I ha- I laugh when that happens. You know, you get a flat tire. Somebody gives you the California hello. Um, you know, uh, your bank phones and say your overdraft. Uh, what else could go wrong?
Somebody calls you a jerk. Have you ever had those days? Yes. Today, right? No? And sometimes it gets so intense that you know it's just the devil. Yes. So, that's when you tell him, "Ha, ha, ha? I win, sucker. I'm on the winning side." Yes. And- and then I ask the Lord, "Lord, really? Do I have to go through this day?" But look at the days that Christ had to walk through. Can you think about this?
How many people do we have here? 15? And Jesus had 12 disciples, and knowing for three years that one of them was going to betray Him. Wow. That is so good. You know how much betrayal hurts? Yes. Yes. Have you ever been betrayed? Yes. Yes. Ha, ha, ha, devil. Yeah, but we all have been. So, what do we do with it? That's the key, okay? Okay. So, I'm, uh, lay-down lovers. At the age of, um, uh, three or four, maybe I was even five, I'd be watching, um, right around Easter, you know, movies of the crucifixion of Christ, and I know I've shared it here before, and I would cry and cry and cry.
My whole family were sitting there and around a black and white TV. This is before color TV. Did you know the first color TV only had four colors? Can you imagine how far it's come? Anyway, um, and we were crying and I was wondering, even at that young age, why would anyone want to die for me? So we'd be crying and sometimes even when I tell this story, I, I start to cry again. But that's what we're called to.
We're called to that type of attitude. And it's so alien to us. You know, in my, um, past profession, in the mounted police, I was called to, you know, guard presidents and, uh, prime ministers, and even the Pope one time. And I was called to give up my life if somebody tried to kill them in my presence, and I always relate back to that. And do you know what? I would give up my life for any one of you, because I have an understanding of what that means and what Christ meant by that, that He would give up His life for me.
And when you catch the full revelation of that, that that's what we're called to walk in, being laid down lovers of Christ... Or even, here's another thing that I think a lot of Christians have a hard time wrapping around: preferring others over ourselves. You ever thought of that? That we are to prefer others over us. Oh, here's another good one. We are to love our enemies. Yes, amen. Not that any of you have enemies.
Think about it. It can only be done by the Spirit of God. In our natural nature- Yes. ... we can't do it. And, you know, to the world and the world's way of doing things, it looks weak, but the Kingdom of God is actually the opposite of the way the world does things. I want you to think about that too. The Kingdom of God is totally opposite. Everybody wants to hold onto their money, hold onto it.
But God says, "If you scatter, you will increase more." And He's not only talking about money. He's talking about love, He's talking about compassion, He's talking about all the fruits of the Spirit. When you're patient, you're sowing something, okay? And we get so involved and, "But what about me?" What about you? Yeah. You're called to look like Christ. Do you believe it? It makes sense. Yes. That's what we're called, to look like Christ.
Do you know why churches aren't full? Anybody want to take a guess why? Because? Because many times in churches, the people don't look like Christ. They're unlovable. I've been to churches that won't allow some people in. Yet, who did Jesus hang around with? The unlovable. The woman at the well who had five husbands. And then what did Jesus say to the men that were just about to stone her? "He is without sin. Cast the first stone." And sometimes that's what church looks like.
I hate it. I hate religion. How about you? The Pharisees, they get... When they went to church, they knew the Scripture backwards and forwards, yet they didn't move out of relationship, they moved out of legalism. God isn't in legalism. He's in love with you. Yes. Think about it. He's in love with you. That's why He went to the cross. He saw the reward that was set before Him. And His last breath, He said, "It is finished." And He did it, for you and for me.And then when the issues of life come, what do you do with those things?
Do you surrender them to the Lord? When somebody is, um, cussing you out, what do you do with those things? You know, o- on Easter, last Easter I was in Bulgaria, and, um, a lady in the ch- in the... We had a joint service, two churches came together. There's probably about 100 people in Bulgaria and, uh, a lady started to manifest, scream, and freak out. And she was demonically possessed, so I went over and dealt with it.
But I dealt with it with love, with love. I told her to "stop in the name of Jesus," and took a - I did take ahold of her - and I declared that this demon was going in the name of Jesus and stop now. So it took about 15 minutes and everybody's in fear in the church. We don't have to fear, okay guys? Yeah. God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of love, power and the sound mind. Don't be afraid.
The Church needs to take their authority... and I'm talking about believers. It's just not the people at the front, okay? It's believers that were called to walk in those things. The Church is so watered down the things of Scripture. Jesus actually said this, that you will do greater works than He. Have we seen that? No. We haven't seen that yet, but we will do greater work. "Well, maybe not me, I'm too shy. Uh, I can't do it." You know, that's not God.
God doesn't see you as shy. We're called to walk this way, Church, walking in the presence of God, and you can be... I- I'm a quiet person, but yet when I get up and preach I don't come across as quiet. I can go days and days and not talk. Yeah, but when the Spirit of the Lord moves, there's something about God. Just give your life over to God. Just surrender. Those that are watching over the internet right now, it's not about your personality; it's about the Lord in your life.
Never forget that. It's about Him, not about you. "Well, I don't feel like it." Why are we led by our feelings? Get the lead out of you and walk in the power and authority that the Lord has given you. So at the age of three or four, I knew there was a God and I knew He died for me, and then at the age of eight, I'm, uh, I'm laying on my, uh, the grass in my home in Ottawa and I'm looking up, and I'm looking up into the sky and I'm contemplating God.
And do you know, even at that age there was some, you know, talk about evolution and we were really monkeys in disguise. And, and, I looked up and I saw the sun and I saw the moon over here, and I'm thinking, "How can this be?" How can this be? We are created beings dispatched to Earth to advance the Kingdom of God. Not to just sit in church, but to go out and cha- take what we receive and give it out to others.
Every place you go, there's a supernatural, divine appointment for you, every place. Don't just leave it in the hands of those that minister, please. You need to be the one that takes what God has given us as believers and run with this, becoming laid-down lovers because He first believed in you. You know, before I, uh, became born again, I believed in God, I just didn't know how to reach Him. But God has given me tools, but God has given you those very same tools.
If anyone gets it, He's no respecter of persons. He will give to everyone that asks. And it says to ask for these gifts, like the words of knowledge, the prophetic words, praying back, pulling people up. But do you know, way back then my shoe didn't look like Christ's.... but every day now, my objective, my goal, Lord, I wanna look like you. When I look in the mirror, I wanna see you, Lord. I wanna touch people the way you touch people, Lord.
You know, um, years ago, at one point, I was talking about arrest points, um... It was probably 10 years ago now. And I've, um... And I- I'm gonna back up a little bit. I've seen angels. I've seen the Lord in my life, and at those points, He changed the direction I was going in. And I wanna talk a little bit about one of those times tonight, and it happened, and I've shared it here, I'm sure. It happened on November 11th, the early morning of November 12th, and the Lord showed up in my bedroom.
And he said, "Peter, for the rest of your life..." And I've still got a few years left. Amen. "For the rest of your life, you're going to be preaching a message on my love. The agape love of heaven. It doesn't look like anything that human beings walk in." Okay? And even I'll tell you this li- uh, little, little thing that I believe. You know where it says, I don't... It's not in the Bible maybe, but, um, you know when people talk about the, um, streets of heaven being paved with gold?
I think they're being... They're paved with love. Think about that. Love. Why is it so hard for us not to love? That is the question. Why is it so hard for us not to love? Because we, we have a lot of self in our love. Do you ever notice that? And God... God is a god of unconditional love. Yes. Look at somebody and say, "Unconditional." Unconditional love. Unconditional. Unconditional. And so that's what...
If He, He's that God, what are we called to? Think about it. We're called to unconditional love. What, has anybody ever been hurt by other people here? Yes. You don't have to answer. All of us. All of us. But God says to love them anyway... unconditionally. That's probably one of the hardest things to do, walking in unconditional love towards people. But I wanna tell you this. You will be responsible for what you do in your life, not what other peoples do- other people do.
You will be responsible for your life, and when you stand before the Lord... and if you haven't repented from things that you've done, those things are still evident. Do you think He doesn't know? Think about it. So even now, even tonight when you go home, maybe repent of those things you haven't repented, where you've walked in a love that was ungodly... becoming laid-down lovers of the Lord. Do your feelings control you, or does God control you?
Does your spirit... Is your spirit man in charge of your life, or are your emotions in charge of your life? And then, um... Boy, I'm- I preached a long time already. Even in the g- Garden of, um, Eden, you know, Adam and Eve were led of their emotions. For the first time, they defied what God wanted them to ha- God wanted to see happen. And what did that lead to? See, we can't be led by our emotions.
We have to be led by the spirit of the Lord. And to the world, honestly, that looks like weakness. They want you all to look like John Wayne, or I don't know what lady would exemplify something like that, but where is the love?... that needs to be in believers. You know, if we walked in the love that God wanted us to walk in, every church would be full. Because I don't know about you, but I respond to love.
And every human being responds to love. And I'll tell you one story, and this is, um, um, happened last December. I was going to get the oil changed in my, um, my vehicle and I went to, I think it's called the Great, uh, Great Canadian, uh, Auto Change, something along those lines. Great Canadian something. And, um, the lady who was, you know, going like this coming in, she started to swear at me and started to, you know, yell and, uh, being very obnoxious.
I think she wanted to get fired. It's nobody here, by the way. A- and a- and I heard the Lord say, "Peter, love her. Just love her." And so I was very nice, very kind. I told a couple of jokes and, and just had a very good conversation with her, treated it, treated her the way I would want to be treated, even in spite of what she did and was doing. And do you know what she did at the end of the oil change?
She gave me a 50% discount. Right. And you know what she said? She said, "Because you've treated me so kind, I'm gonna give you a 50% discount." Yeah. And see, love, love never, and maybe it won't return from the same person, but love never returns void, the Scripture says. Yes. When you sow love, you receive love back. That's right. Or, you know, and maybe you're married and you're having, um, you know, an argument with your spouse, and if you're cool, calm, and collected, and walking in love, and seeing the underlying reasons why this is happening, and you respond in love, maybe not at that moment, but at some moment, that other person is going to realize what happened.
You didn't react. The worst thing you can do when two people get together is match their emotional, whatever they're in. Yeah. Okay. Anyway, that's for somebody here. Amen. Now, anyway, so the Lord told me the rest of my life I'm going to be, um, preaching on love, and, and then He said this and I laughed about it all. I said, "Lord, it's impossible." And He said this, "Not only are you going to preach it, you're gonna have to walk it." I can't do that.
Uh, there's no way. God, there's no way. You know, you can't argue with God. And I said, "Lord, I need You more now than I've ever needed You 'cause I don't have this in me. I can't do it in the natural. But I can do it by the Holy Spirit." Amen. Yeah. Amen. It's ... I know. I know it's hard, but God makes a way. Yes. Yes. And that should be our focus, not even what we're arguing about. That should be our focus.
Yes. Of walking in His love every day. Yes. And we, when we say something that or do something that we perhaps shouldn't, what's wrong with apologizing? What's wrong with repenting and saying, "Please forgive me." Yeah. "I shouldn't have said that," or, "I shouldn't have done that. I shouldn't have kicked you in the head. Please forgive me." Yes. We get so wrapped up in our emotions, but let's be led by the Holy Spirit, free of the emotional element, rising above it because we're called to be conquerors in Christ Jesus.
And why can't we conquer this area through the Holy Spirit? Sure, you can miss it every once in a while, but, uh, get up and repent, and say, "I'm sorry." Yes. And don't be... You know, our pride keeps us from saying things. And God said this, "Peter, perfecting love is the key to every breakthrough." The key to breakthrough is love. Ah.Well, I'd rather punch them out. Ah. I know I'm preaching to you guys.
You heard what the Apostle Paul said. He's gone through, you know, hell on earth. You ever heard the story of the Apostle Paul? Bit by a snake, thrown shipwreck, thrown into prison. And you think you got it rough. Did you know what he said? That God's grace is sufficient for him. God's grace. The grace of God is sufficient, and if he said it, I believe it, and I'm after it. How about you? His grace is sufficient for me, walking past the outer court where most of Christianity is, with all their issues, a- all their garbage and everything, and, "Help me, help me, help me." When we can go into the inner court, into the Holy of Holies where the presence of the Lord is.
Empowered by God to walk upright before Him. And so let me say this, if you're challenged in a relationship right now, examine your heart and see whether you're in the faith or not in the faith. And that's scriptural, by the way. Examine your own heart to see whether you're in God or not in God. Will you do that for me? Or do it for Him? It's probably better. And many times, we look at our inability and we forget to look at God's ability in us.
It's getting pretty quiet in this Presbyterian church. Oh my, I'm stirring up some stuff. How- how much- how much longer can I go, Pastor? How much longer? I got a few more things. Um, it's- It's quarter to 9:00. We have a few more ... We're going at 9:00? 9:00. 9:00. Okay. Um, you know, one year, just before the summer conference in Sylvan Lake, we decided we were going to do prophetic words on the beach.
And so we decided to do, I can't remember now whether it was four weeks or six weeks, but we were only going to spend two or three hours. We'd put tables, uh, on the beach. Do you know where the old A&W used to be? Right across from the beach. We were at the place right beside Pete's on the Beach. Uh, used to be a car, um, you know, repair place. And so we had four tables. We had three people at each table, and so that's a total of 12. Two or three hours every Saturday for four to six weeks.
And do you know how many men... people got saved? 167. That's wild. Over the weeks that we did the prophetic word. I had one guy and, um, he came up like this. He had thick sunglasses on that you can't see through. He was like this. H- he had tattoos from the top of his head to the tips of his toes, I'm- I'm sure. I'm stereotyping now. Um, you know, had a ball cap on. He was all in black, chewing gum.
I said, "You want a prophetic word?" He said, "Yeah." But he was still trying to be, you know, I'm cool. You ever met those types of people? Yes. "I'm cool." And so he sits down and for 15 minutes the people at the table started to prophesy over him, and he started to slowly open his heart. And he no longer had his arms folded, and he started to open up. And then he started to cry, because the prophetic words were not only accurate but they were penetrating into his very heart.
You know, those that look the hardest are probably those that need the- the biggest touch from the Lord. And anyway, so I asked him at the end of the 15 minutes, "Do you want to accept Christ as Lord and Savior of your life?" And what do you think the answer was?... idea. Crying right there, even in front of his friends. That's the love of God. You wanna see people transformed and changed? Love. Maybe it won't happen right away.
Maybe it'll never happen. But God is a rewarder of those that diligently seek after Him. Maybe you, maybe you've tried all these things and it hasn't produced fruit, but who decides whether fruit is being produced or not? I think that's God's department. You know, uh, you know, I was preparing for tonight and I was reading some stuff and... Faith always manifests in obedience, but obedience always manifests in faith.
It works together. And tonight, I wanna release something for each of us, that we will walk in the realm of unconditional love. Is that okay? Yes. Let me see if I've got any other thoughts. Oh, this is a good one. I'm gonna share it. I was in, um, um, London, Ontario in May. I was preaching at a church in London, Ontario, before I came west. And I went into a store and I bought a 500 milligram bottle of water.
And I forget what the brand was. The brand doesn't matter, but it said in big letters that "This is recycled plastic." And I got to think about it, and I was, I was driving to the church and I bought the bottle on the way. I was thinking, "I don't really care what the outside looks like. I'm more concerned about what the inside is." And shouldn't that be the same way that we look at human beings?
Think about it. We all look at, as human beings, we all look at the outward appearance. But what does God look at? The heart. He looks at the heart. We don't know why people act the way they do. You know, David was a little runt. And Samuel went to all his brothers and he said, "No, he's not the guy to be king. No, he's not the guy to be king. Do you have any more sons?" You guys know this story. David comes in.
The outward of David didn't look like the king, but the inward of David did, and he was chosen to be king. Do you look more at the outward, or like God, do you look at the inward, the things of the heart? Do you know that things of the heart are more important than anything? And what do, what do I mean by the things of the heart? I'm talking about the fruit of the Holy Spirit that's found in Galatians 5:22.
And it says, "What is the fruit?" You know, and I've talked about this here before, I'm more concerned with fruit than I am with the gifts, even though I have the gifts. You understand? "Love, joy, gentleness, peace, kindness, patience, longsuffering..." Oh, I, I may have missed one. "Mercy, uh, and self-control." And so, can you control yourself? The Holy Spirit can in you. So when you wanna get angry, in the flesh, you can say, "No, I'm not gonna get angry because I'm led by the Spirit of God, not by my flesh, not by my circumstances, not by my situation. When I wanna lash out, I'm not gonna lash out. I'm gonna love." Why don't we stand?
